Observation details
Continuing. Actively feeding in the pond, both submerging heads and some dabbling. V foreheads prominent, no yellow in lores, easily distinguishable lipstick lines. At one point all five lifted necks erect and gave several contact calls, well audible from where I was standing. Calls unmistakably Trumpeter honking. Seems to be two pairs and a loner, since birds were often in two pairs, with the other usually a little ways away.
