Observation details
While I was returning from the long walk and birding, one big bird flew across the path and went into the tree adjacent to bamboo patch. Initially I thought it maybe Besra and tried to see through binocular and from the appearance the first thought is Hawk Cuckoo and tried to take photos. To my bad luck the bird was in the clutter and it was difficult to adjust. With few shots I slowly approached from the side but it sensed and started moving ahead silently and I stopped chasing one more perch. Initially I id as Common hawk Cuckoo but the size was nagging me quite some time and asked the experts. They are of the opinion that it maybe Large hawk Cuckoo given the size and dark plumage. Certainly it was bigger than Common hawk Cuckoo.
