Observation details

Nice find by Josh Ketry 2 days ago. Beautiful red (males) and olive (females): mid-sized birds with black wings and crossed bills. Seen first flying across the road calling, then found them foraging mostly in Norway Spruces. They also came down a couple of times to grit along the road. Photos.
