Observation details

Mega: incredible; encountered this amazing bird perched on the wires along Baxter Road near the geotube lookout point; was able to get the word out and I think all birders on the cbc and others on island were able to come see the bird; it was still on the wires at 350pm when we left the area (and later seen by Liam Waters after dark); underpart pattern combined with the dark blue eyering and blue gray bill seemed to indicate adult type female MAFR; many photos;
