Observation details
Osprey was perched when a Turkey Vulture flew in, knocking the Osprey off it's branch. Osprey was very vocal, screaming with displeasure as it circled for a few minutes before returning to the same branch. Fascinating to observe how the Osprey used it's wings and tail to brake it's speed as it flew back into the tree (wings vertical, with short but rapid wing beats), and how the torso also became vertically aligned when it's feet were stretched outward to grasp the branch.
