Observation details
Adult male- from a distance had the overall look of a RNDU, but I soon noticed that the back was a bit gray, not black, and the head shape was not quite right. Got the scope out to confirm it was a hybrid. Pale side with a wash of gray and a contrasting white “tongue” going up the side of the breast liken RNDU. Back intermediate in darkenes between LESC and RNDU. Head shape also intermediate, peaked but not as severely as RNDU. Bill also intermediate with a bold black tip and pale band, but not as strong as on a pure RNDU. Photos and videos taken and will be added later.
