Continuing (again from last year) on territory male singer mostly on trees by Reservoir ... some RWBL like song on end of some phrases today..vid doc Dominating RWBL ...at times trading songs back & forth LAter could hear At least one other WEME singer in field AUDIO NOTES AS on ebird… 1 WEME w RWBL at end phrase,then straight WEME DSCN1695 2 WEME w RWBL influenced mimicry at end phrase & straight WEME alternating SCN1696 3 RWBL calling …back & forth RWBL type song from both WEME & RWBL RWBL last note more subdued , WEME last note louder ,clearer ,more emphasis,at times more melodic Sometimes WEME adds a bit more WEME phrasing DSCN1714 4 simple notes, then WEME w RWBL mimic at end phrase DSCN1694 5 weme with PISI like echo at end (was doing for a while just got 2) …then some straight RWBL like stuff /mimicry ..RWBL in background at times DSCN1713 WEME at times RWBL song..then followed immediately an alternate rwbl influenced phrase 6 from trimmed DSCN1713 cut of – just end of PISI like .. 1 full phrase ending PISI influenced maybe …it had been doing this phrase for a while before I caught just this little bit 7 from DSCN1713 WEME with RWBL Alt 1&2 end of phrase 8 from DSCN1713 WEME mimics then background RWBL (1) 9 from DSCN1713 WEME mimics then background RWBL (2 PS Interestingly on the 6th the RWBL final note was a lower pitch than the WEME ... now they are pitch matched on the final note.. previously the RWBL was lower and i think it has comne up to the WEMEs note... or possibly has a more than one song ending whether weme is around or not... Regardless it is interesting that they have synched up
