Observation details
Continuing old world gull that’s been around since the middle of January 2022. Small gull, similar to Bonaparte’s but with orange-ish bill (black tip) and legs (left is injured), single smudge spot behind eyes, black terminal band on its tail, and a dirty looking wash on underwings and darker primaries versus clean white. Actively feeding and landing on the water, though it was eating saltines that were being thrown at the gulls by non-birders… Flew south over the causeway after 10 minutes had passed.
