Observation details
Exact count. We observed and photographed them for about 15-20 minutes. There was some agitated behavior going on. It seemed to be mostly between a possible pair and another drake. It looked as though one drake and one hen took turns chasing another drake away. There were however three drakes in the foray. One may have gotten caught up due to its proximity to the others. All three drakes had their tails cocked/raised. This went on for at least 5 to 10 minutes. After things quieted down, they seemed to split up into two groups. Two pairs were together away from the other two drakes and four hens.
