Observation details
This might be the owner of the dawn call that seemed to be stuck on repeat - at least half an hour - we thought it was a Lineated Woodpecker, but the sound was not quite right, and the location of the bird was wrong. It seemed to be low to the ground. We were on the road/trail, and the scrub was probably three meters high, and the bird was a good way 'back in the area - where big ceibos flanked the scrub sort of at the base of one of the hillsides. The audio was extracted from a video - and most of the time during a drizzle/soft rain.
