Media notes
Spontaneous song of a Brushland Tinamou from the brushy edge of Represa La Tales, which contained shallow water, as it walked toward the water, along with its presumed mate. A more distant individual is counter-singing. Monk Parakeets et al. were coming to drink and calling. Other background sounds include: Eared Dove, Spot-winged Pigeon, Green-barred Woodpecker, Picui Ground Dove, Rufous Hornero. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME67 directional mic with an Auray shaggy windscreen.
Observation details
Two birds were seen nicely as they walked out toward the shallow water through a grassy area and then up onto and over the earthen dam. At least 3 others were heard.
