Observation details
This is the info given by eBird reviewer Matt Brady after examining the photos. "It looks like both birds are present in the photos, as one has a distinctly darker ear patch, while the other has little in the way of darker ear coverts, and has a "blank" face, as well as a few black feathers coming in on the under parts. From what I can tell, the primary projection past both the longest tertial and the tip of the tail is relatively short, though I can't count the exact number of primaries extending. In spite of the challenging lighting conditions, it looks like both birds have extensive golden spangling across the backs and scapulars, and through the face. The longer legs and shorter bill, especially one of the birds, are especially striking. All in all, I'm very satisfied that these photos show two Pacific Golden-Plovers!"
