Observation details
Seen in flight and photographed from a great distance landing on a perch. When I walked out towards the perch - I lost the bird (HOW?) - looks to be replaced with a red-tailed. Red-tailed hawks don't have fuzzy legs like the Golden Eagle. Golden eagle has a large bill.
