Observation details
Found foraging with a BLOY and 2 SURFs at the very end of the easternmost jetty. Black and white, American-type oystercatcher that looked too dirty to be a “pure” frazari. Adult; mottled edge to black breast that extends well down into belly; dark feathers in axillaries; random dark feathers throughout white underparts; dark-centered undertail coverts; virtually no white tail band except for some lighter feathers on the outside edges. Photos.
