Observation details
I scrutinized the bird and then the photos before putting an ID on this bird. From the photos I eventually decided the tail feathers were definitely graduated and the head was squared off, it had a somewhat “fierce” look and the tarsus was marginally thick. So I leaned towards a small (male) Cooper’s. I rcvd the following from Holly Merker: A media reviewer (someone not in PA) tagged this as a Sharpie - here's what he said " Sharp-shinned Hawk - equal length tail feathers, smaller bill and head, rufous patch behind eye, no neck". So I've changed the ID to SSHA
