Observation details
**Continuing rarity (first state record, first found by Bob Neiman). Seen well before sunrise in its (apparently) favorite Hackberry, and then seen silently on four other occasions: once shortly afterwards foraging low along the stream, twice across the stream, and once in the Hackberry. It was also briefly seen twice in conjunction with longer (minute +) hours of vocalizations, in which it imitated both Northern Flicker and , apparently, Nutting’s Flycatcher.
