Media notes
A continuous cut with eleven songs (first song cuts in). The songs were given from a prominent perch in a small, 5 m tall dead tree. The bird sat there, then sallied out briefly to catch insects or visit flowers, and, after landing on more or less the same perch, gave a song. It then waited, sallied out again, and sang again after returning. A second male was heard in the background (probably not that far, maybe 15 m, but their songs don't carry very far, so barely audible). This focal bird is the same individual as in ML408365071 and ML408366781.
