Observation details
Awesome to have one here. I saw it a month ago but had struggled to relocate it. Some distinguishing features are in the images. Firstly the size, it is in one image with a RNS and is slightly smaller and with a Sharp-tailed Sandpiper a lot smaller. The Image in flight and of it scratching its chin show a long toe. The base of the bill is supposed to have yellow, there is a little in the shot but not as much as I have seen in other LTS. Size discounts Sharpie. The other possible is a Least Sandpiper but looking at the scaps and coverts don't seem to match those of Least in the The Shorebird Guide (O'Brien, Crossley and Carlson) .Its vents and flanks also seem super white.
