Observation details
Have a photo, Was in an acacia tree close to the trunk. I was following what I thought was a black/white barbet (unable to identify) and I saw the Owl. Had spots on brow. Breast was white/gray with brown spotting. My first day-time owl Owl was mobbed by cisticolas and a flycatcher. They were calling around him to harass the owlet.
