NOTES: Weather: WIND; SMALL GROUPSOF 2-12 BIRDS, ABOUT HALF MALE AND HALF FEMALE, PERCHED CLOSE TOGETHER ON TOP BRANCHES OF DEAD TREES. BIRDS WERE CALLING INTERMITTANTLY, THEN FLYING RATHER LOW AND TENDING TO CIRCLE BACK AGAIN. CALLS WERE GIVEN MORE FREELY IN FLIGHT THAN AT REST. GRASSY RATHER DRY PLAIN WITH A FEW DEAD TREES IN WHICH THE COCKATIELS WERE SITTING. RECORDED MID-MORNING. 40 ADULT(S); MALE; FEMALE. Habitat: Grassland.
