Observation details
The owl showed up and started hunting at about 2:00. It sat looking for mice as it was being mobbed by songbirds. After ten minutes of sitting, it spotted something and was gazing intently at it. I swung my camera around to the little vole moving around that the owl had spotted. When the vole came into the open, the owl attacked and caught it. It then went to a secluded spruce tree and ate his prize. The shaky picture is of the owl catching the vole.
