Media notes
Two cuts of a Bolivian Earthcreeper that sang spontaneously from well upslope, initially in response to pygmy-owl playback, and worked its way into a tall mesquite-like tree after playback of its own vocalization and persistently sang. Background includes: Picui Ground-Dove, Saffron Finch, several mobbing passerines, and some loud cicadas. I deleted a section with extremely loud cicadas, creating 2 cuts separated by about a minute. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
