Media notes
Back angle of the female bird. As it turned the coloration difference in the underparts was clear.
Observation details
2 pairs seen. 1 pair photographed. Since the pair was perched very much close to each other the size difference was clear. Having seen the size difference following points were clear: 1. The male has more rufous coloration evenly spread throughout the body. 2. Female's back was also rufous but had blackish tinge to that rufous color of her. Also her throat, breast, belly is whitish-grey whereas male has rufous throat & chest. The above-mentioned observations (apart from the size) may vary from pair to pair. The coloration of the pair observed at another location previous year was way too different than this one. Hence, size difference is the conclusive evidence.
