Media notes
Calls from a large mixed foraging flock of Montezuma and Chestnut-headed Oropendolas. Montezuma Oropendolas give the loud, abrupt, barking “ar” or “aow” calls. Chestnut-headed Oropendolas can be heard giving soft clucking calls and the whining “hah” in the background. In the second half of the cut, the Chestnut-headed calls are more audible after most of the Montezumas have moved through the area. A few song phrases from Montezuma Oropendolas can be heard throughout as well. Time of recording: 14:45.
