These calls were recorded minutes before the bird showed up in the bush - hence, I believe they were made by the same bird. However, for record - I did not see the bird making the call and there were other Warblers (Pallas Gropper etc) not very far from the spot.
Observation details
Great views of one...calls from two others, or may be more. Sagar got a photo as well. Hardly any supercilium, mousy grey or grey brown, whitish throat while singing, streaked flanks and vent - heavily streaked above. Apart from making short duration of the song sequence, and chit-chat chatter, it also made a Pallas's Gropper like trill call - not as long or metallic, but explosive particularly when the bird is so near. Behaviour exactly like in Merlin, once it was located, it allowed many close views.
