Observation details
Herring gull with many darker slate gray feathers mottled in with normal herring gull pale gray on the mantle and upper wing. A possible hybrid(with great black backed gull) but i am not sure. It looked slightly larger than other herring gulls with a slightly larger bill, head, and neck. but i was too far to examine the bird with great detail.
