Observation details
By private residence yard by the spring. Both in view at once. One was drab and the other was very bright; the bright one may be the bird that some have reported as possibly a NUFL, but it is my understanding that no one has recorded any audio that would be needed to confirm that. The pics I have are pretty horrible, especially the first bird (it was in thicker vegetation and obscured from full view). The first one I saw (the brighter one), I was taking a picture of it at the same time that others near me (a seperate party of 3 birders) were looking at and taking pics of the second bird. After taking pics of the first bird I then took a few pics of the second bird, which was in the shade but stil seemed to me to be noticeably duller in overall plumage colors.
