I was standing on the edge of ox-bow lake Cocha Salvador, when this Toucan started to call. An Indian identified it for me, as can be heard on the tape. It is identical with the same species on the Parker tape, and Bob Coffey confirmed it for me. (Ramphastos tucanus includes the race R.cuvieri; PIX; 10/10/88). Other Behaviors: Advertise.
