Observation details
Seen at approximately 9:30 at the top of a tree. We saw it from the River Road side but the tree was on the Avenue A side. The tree was slightly north of the Magnolia Road intersection. Continuing rarity. Female type. Tanager like bird with streaked olive green back. Two white wing bars. White spots on the tips of the tertial feathers. Some dark smudging in the auricular area. (Seen again at 10:00 in the large oak tree on Ave A across from the maintenance building driveway (photos). Flew into ligustrum on right side of maintenance building driveway and then disappeared. - Beth)
