Observation details

Field notes: Overall upper parts coloration pale greyish brown, no rufous or buff tones; well marked fore supercilium, extending beyond the eye; strong large bill with blunt tip; long-tail effect given the short primary projection, around 2/3 of the tertial length; white undertail coverts; very little contrast to none on the upperparts - very plain-looking bird; A few calls were heard from inside the scrubs (Pistacea lentiscus), dry "tek" "tek".
