Observation details
*****MEGA. Adult Steller’s Sea-Eagle. This is no doubt the same bird which flew over the ice-free north and became trapped in the Atlantic, first seen in July in Quebec. Later seen in Nova Scotia (Or even the bizarre anomalous 2020 record from Texas?). Unmistakable, with enormous yellow-orange bill, white wing patch and wedge-shaped white tail. The longest view of the day. Flew off to the north at the end of this checklist.
