Observation details
This bird had a noticeable white eye-ring, quite pale, a relatively strong, dark "mustache" line, a buffy supercilium, and a whitish median crown-stripe. We had commented at the time that it seemed to have the field marks of a CCSP, but it wasn’t until I was able to review my photos at home that it seemed like it really might be the correct ID, so am posting it for the reviewers’ decision. We observed it feeding on the lawn of a home on the corner of Oak Ridge Drive and Ferry Road in Chelsea, side-by-side with two CHSPs, as well as DEJUs.
