Media notes
A Black-banded Woodcreeper gives two songs from the trunk of the active Crested Oropendola nest tree—a tall one. I could see streaking on the crown, but not on the back; and I couldn’t see the underparts. It was the right size, and the recording fits Black-banded. Background includes: calls and display sound of a male Crested Oropendola, distant Greater Anis, Gray-fronted Dove. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
