Observation details
6 along the road from Stonyford. half way down the straight stretch heading south just before turning toward the gate. An incredible flock of 72 mixed with hundreds of pipits at the south end of the east arm of the lake. Feeding on swarms of insects along the mudflats. At times the entire flock would flutter into the air and hover together!!! exact count
