"Bird 2" - possibly same individual as "Bird 1"
Observation details
Possibly 2 individuals. First Cassin's Vireo ("Bird 1") was with a mixed flock and showed olive above with grayer head and bold white spectacles. Yellowish below, brighter on flanks. Bold white wing bars. One seen later, either the same or a different individual, was similar to "Bird 1" but in the field I felt it had a grayer head and was whiter below, particularly in upper breast and throat, showing a strong demarcation of white throat and gray head. "Bird 2" was at the very upper end of campground road, not with a flock. In reviewing my photos I am having trouble convincing myself that there were two individuals as different photos of the same bird show variation in contrast and depth of color in the head, back, and underparts. I think "Bird 2" may show a bolder gray head with less olive wash and with stronger contrast with the white throat, but difference could be due to light, angle, etc. See photos.
