Observation details
This bird was found feeding on an aloe in the core garden on Quail Run. It flashed some blue on it's throat, had a red bill with black tip, and very ragged tail feathers. It is most likely a juvenile male. It made a rapid, scratching chatter similar to a Ruby-crowned Kinglet.I have included some fuzzy pictures to confirm the ID. Other birders in the group may have better photos of this bird.
