Observation details
***MEGA | patch bird ;) | Found in the marsh off the south end of the West Meadow. Foraging in the same panne as the WFIB. Two long head plumes were obvious from a distance. Pale gray lore looked everywhere from greenish to purple in varying light (closer photos through phragmites available). Bill longer than SNEG, more TCHE like; long and tapered. Entirely black legs with yellow-green feet. Third state record. First and second from the Scarborough Marsh on 29-30 Jun 2011 and 8 Jul - 18 Aug 2012.
