Observation details
Surprisingly not skulky at all. Located right where the wood rail fence ends, further upstream from the area below the football field where its previously been reported. Calling and bouncing around. Mostly foraging in the small stream running between the bike path and the river, but at one point foraging in the leaf litter right along the paved path, making me wish I dragged my camera along. Dark brown overall, with paper supercilium and throat. Very dark lower belly contrasting with pale throat. Recorded distinctive calls which were slower, lower pitched, and less piercing than Pacific Wren.
