Observation details
Uncertain if this is the bird I last saw on 10/18. Large goldenrod meadows offering prime habitat for this species so turnover is certainly a possibility. Sharp-billed warbler with gray head and pale eye arcs. Fairly brighter yellow underparts on this bird washed with faint gray streaking and contrasting with brighter yellow undertail coverts. Bird was associating with a Nashville Warbler throughout the duration of viewing sometimes taking flight and acrobatically tussling with one another in mid air. Watched the OCWA plucking small larvae out of the dried goldenrod seed heads. Images attached.
