Observation details
Def, two birds singing -- confirimg yest.'s observations. This morn' heard one bird singing from near the bamboo bridge trees (near fence) at about 08h00 (sang three times in 10 mins) while I was recording the round-bench bird singing. Both birds singing song continuously all morning while feeding. Notes before the trill repeated after the trill but louder after the trill, & following up with more notes. See photos in big camera later in the day when they stopped singing & would only call (typical thin u-shaped spec) while feeding. Feeding in leaves of ONLY Prosopis juliflora, usually higher in canopy, but would come down to about 10 ft or so. Always hovering but so were Chiffchafs too, but can pick up this bird's silhouette as more compact with shorter tail & much tinier than the Chiffy. Spent all morning trying to find more individuals to get a bigger sample size of song recs. But only two birds singing!
