Observation details
First reported on the evening of 17 November by Lynda Giles, whose property it was on. Medium-large cuckoo. Grey upper parts and white underparts with strong black barring. Yellow on underside of tail, with a yellow eye ring and base of bill. Bright yellow-orange feet that really stood out. The bird was making lazy, gliding flights from fence post to fence post around the property, occasionally dropping to the ground to forage.
