Observation details
Recorded an interesting wren. Saw the bird while I was recording, but didn’t get a great look although it didn’t look particularly buffy. There were also a few WIWR in the area so it was a bit difficult to tell if I ever saw the bird in my binoculars that I originally heard calling. Overall call is quite high for WIWR although I also don’t think this is the typical call. It appears to be an agitated call but even at that seems to be quite a high frequency. I briefly tried to find it again this evening but only heard one distant WIWR. Bird was hanging out along the creek that crosses the road near the pin
