Observation details
Continuing in cattle pasture 0.7 mi from entrance. Hawking insects from the wood pile at dusk. Small drab flycatcher with salmon underside and flanks. Split from Scarlet Flycatcher (P. rubinus) and reclassified as P. obscurus in IOC Version 10.2.; presumed subspecies P. o. flammeus or P. o. mexicanus based on range.
