Observation details
Continuing (I assume). With flock of black-bellied plovers on rocky beach roughly opposite intersection of Sunset and Lighthouse. Looks like possibly (?) a different individual (brighter back markings) than the one I saw on 31 October, farther south at Asilomar State Beach. Smaller, with less robust bill than black-bellied plovers; buffy-tan tone to plumage, a few gold spots on upper back.
