Observation details
Found by John M feeding on herring in the small boat harbor. Nice comparison between this bird and the PECOs foraging near by. bird was first thought to be a Bandts Cormorant now Possible RFCO. Its hard to tell by the photos but this bird had a thicker bill and neck. It’s profile was different then the PECOs over all color was brown gray with lighter feathers under the chin and above the bill extending to the forehead.
