NOTES: (Sp. Sound: isolated; Breeding Stat: not breeding; Sound : ?song, ?call; Behav. Context: ?experiment, ?other; Cover Den: med) I have read that this 'pweee' call is heard mostly in autumn, but cannot recall the reference. BNA: Song Form 1 "pee-ah-wee!", but briefer, without the middle syllable. mf [No! Minis was correct here. This is the "pweee" call that is given in migration, not the song. This call was illustrated in Figure 4 of BNA, but not mentioned in the account! Quality changed from 2-3 to 3-2, 2-3 (noise from rain; latter two parts a little better than first four) - CAM - 5 January 2005]. Habitat: Forest, Deciduous Forest, Island, Grove.
