Nestling calls may also be known as "Chirp calls". Some drumming can also be heard. CZ 24/02/2004. [This recording appears to represent primarily the "Loud Chirp" Calls of the nestlings as they were fed by the adult, but there are also 33 "kyik" Call Notes (0:17, 0:185, 0:215, 0:23, 0:31, 0:33, 0:37, 0:39, 0:405, 0:42, 1:45, 2:06, 2:145, 2:165, 2:19, and 18 examples at 2:245-2:51), five Short Rattles (0:24, 1:47, 1:485, 1:495, 1:51), two Rattle-Snarls (0:25-0:28, 3:28-3:31), and two Drums (3:34, 3:50). This is the same family group recorded in LNS #38402, but with the nestlings now three days older and much louder. Quality changed from 1; 2 to 2, 2-1 - CAM - 26 April 2005]. Number of individuals=AM1AF1NU1+;. Other Behaviors: Depart, Bill Drumming, Arrive, Establish Parent Young Contact, Beg, Care For Young, Social Context: Family. Habitat: Forest, Coniferous Forest.
