Observation details
Apparent 1st year male. Warbler with gray head, orange patch in armpit, yellow patches on wings and tail. First seen in a weeping fig tree near the Saint Catherine Catholic Church. We watched the bird for 10-15 minutes, fanning its tail in typical redstart fashion. Then, we watched it sip from a small puddle in concrete behind some houses. A female indigo bunting joined the bird, and both sipped from the same puddle at the same time. Thrilling to observe
