Observation details
**Rare but regular migrant, especially within this window of time. Nevertheless, my first in the Basin (or the state). Juvenile came in to mobbing and moved around me for a couple of minutes. Surprisingly cooperative. Towards SE corner of preserve on Blue Trail, where path turns left (away from spruces) and just past the intersection with the Red Trail. Popped up from goldenrod area below the trail and moved around me staying at eye level, then eventually dropped back down into goldenrod area. Large, fat warbler with all yellow underparts. Undertail coverts slightly paler and very long. Bold, complete white eyering. Greenish back, dull brownish/grayish hood and breast. Moved slowly through trees and from perch to perch.
