Observation details
My son saw this bird on the neighbors shed roof and called me. North side of the cul de sac. I considered harrier and red shouldered but the white face made me reconsider. Not being sure of the ID I sent the picture to a friend who thought it may be a Swainsons. Knowing it shouldn't be here I was hesitant to submit it. I'm open to being corrected. I'm also surprised that an adult intermediate would be this far away from it's usual range. It was not there this morning.
